Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Skyscrapers puzzle game (“Skyscrapers”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Skyscrapers is published by MJK APPS SRL. If you have any questions, contact us at support@fluttech.com.

1. Information we process

On your device only

Your puzzle progress, best times, streaks, achievements and app settings are stored locally on your device. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you sign in and use cloud sync (below).

Account & cloud sync

Skyscrapers uses Firebase Authentication. By default an anonymous account (a random identifier with no personal details) is created so your progress can be saved to the cloud and you can appear on leaderboards. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider. With Apple you may choose “Hide My Email”, in which case we only ever receive a private relay address.

When you are signed in, the following is stored in Cloud Firestore and linked to your account:

• puzzle progress and best times;
• daily, weekly and all-time leaderboard results;
• streak and activity history, including achievement unlocks;
• your in-game keys balance;
• a display name you choose;
• your app settings, so they carry over to a new device.

Your display name and your scores (solve time and puzzles solved) are visible to other players on the public leaderboards.

Notifications

Skyscrapers can send you an optional daily reminder to play the daily puzzle. These reminders are scheduled and shown by your device locally — they do not involve any server, and we do not collect any information to send them. You can turn them on or off at any time from Settings, and you can also disable them in your device’s system settings. On Android 13 and later, the device asks for notification permission first.

Sharing a challenge

When you share a solved puzzle, the app creates a link that contains only the puzzle and your solve time — no personal information. The link is sent through your device’s own share sheet to whomever you choose. If someone opens that link in a web browser, our website receives the standard request information any website does (such as an IP address); we do not use it to identify you.

Crash diagnostics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to record crashes so we can fix bugs. A crash report may include your device model, operating-system version, app version and a technical stack trace. It is used only to diagnose and fix problems, not to identify or track you.

Usage analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd) to understand how the game is used so we can improve it. Unlike a typical opt-out toggle, analytics in Skyscrapers is off until you turn it on in Settings → Privacy. If you enable it, we record anonymous, aggregate events about how the app is used — for example opening a screen, starting or completing a puzzle, using a hint, or signing in — together with basic technical context such as your app version, device model, operating-system version and coarse region. These events are tied to a Firebase-generated app-instance identifier and, when you are signed in, to your account identifier. We use this information only in aggregate to understand and improve the game; we do not use it to advertise to you, and we never sell it. You can turn it back off at any time from the same Settings screen.

Advertising

Skyscrapers shows a single banner ad at the bottom of the screen while you are playing a puzzle, unless you have bought Skyscrapers Complete, which turns ads off permanently. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd). To deliver, frequency-cap and measure ads, AdMob may process information about you and your device, including the device’s advertising identifier, IP address (which Google may also use to measure and personalise ads, including across the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), approximate (coarse) location derived from that IP address, device and operating-system details, and basic information about how you interact with the ads. Some of this processing is considered “tracking” under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.

Your choice (consent). Where required by law — including the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland — we show a Google-provided consent form before any personalised ads are served. You can allow personalised ads, or choose to receive only non-personalised ads. On iOS you may also see Apple’s separate App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline tracking or personalisation, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised based on a profile of you. Purchases

Skyscrapers Complete is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks every puzzle pack, turns off ads and adds a skyline avatar for your profile. The payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies — we never receive or store your card, bank or billing details. To give you what you paid for, our server asks Apple or Google to confirm the purchase and then stores a record against your account containing the store transaction identifier, the platform (iOS or Android) and the date. We keep that record for as long as the entitlement lasts, so you can restore your purchase on a new device; it is deleted along with the rest of your data when you delete your account.

Feedback

If you send feedback from within the app, we store the message you write together with your app version and your account identifier so we can understand and follow up on the issue.

2. How we use your information

• To run the game and save your progress.
• To sync your progress across your devices when you sign in.
• To show daily, weekly and all-time leaderboard standings.
• To send the optional daily-puzzle reminder you can enable.
• To show banner ads (and, where you consent, personalised ads) so the app can be offered for free.
• To deliver and restore the Skyscrapers Complete purchase if you choose to buy it.
• To diagnose crashes and improve stability.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the game is used so we can improve it — only if you turn analytics on.
• To respond to feedback you send us.

3. Service providers

We rely on the following providers to run these features:

• Google Firebase — Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics and Analytics (provided by Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd). See Firebase privacy and the Google Privacy Policy.
• Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In — used only if you choose to sign in. See the Apple and Google privacy policies.
• Google AdMob — used to serve the in-app banner ad, including consent management through Google’s User Messaging Platform. See AdMob privacy & security.
• Apple (App Store) and Google Play billing — handle the Skyscrapers Complete payment entirely on their side. See the Apple and Google privacy policies.
• Google Fonts — the app loads its typefaces from Google’s font servers (fonts.gstatic.com); this involves a request to Google that may include your IP address and device information, per Google’s policies.

Beyond these, we do not use attribution services and do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes.

4. Sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal data. The only information visible to other people is the display name and scores you publish to the leaderboards.

5. Keeping and deleting your data

• Local data is removed when you uninstall the app.
• You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your progress, stats and leaderboard entries. Some leaderboard entries from earlier daily or weekly periods may persist briefly and then age out automatically.
• You can also request deletion by emailing support@fluttech.com.

6. Your rights (EU/EEA — GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, export and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. The quickest way to erase your data is the in-app Delete account option; otherwise contact us.

Our legal bases for processing are: providing the features you request (account, sync, leaderboards, purchases) under contract; our legitimate interest in diagnosing crashes and in showing non-personalised ads that keep the app free; and your consent for personalised advertising and for usage analytics — analytics is off until you turn it on, and both choices can be changed at any time from Settings inside the app.

7. Children

Skyscrapers is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children below the age of consent in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Cloud data is protected by Firebase security rules so that each account can only write its own records, and we use Firebase App Check to help verify that requests to our backend come from a genuine copy of the app.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, note it in the app.
