Delete your account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Lettera account and the data we hold about you. Lettera is published by MJK APPS SRL. If you have any trouble with the steps below, email contact@fluttech.com and we will delete your account for you.

In short:

You can delete your account directly from inside the Lettera app — guest accounts too.
Your progress, collection, settings and identity records are erased, and the phone's copy of the game is cleared.
There is no waiting period — deletion is immediate.

Delete from inside the app (recommended)

Open Lettera on your phone.
Tap the You tab.
Under Account, tap Delete account.
Confirm. That is all.

If you signed in with Apple or Google, the app asks you to confirm with that provider first — a security requirement that takes a few seconds. With Apple, the sign-in grant is revoked at the same time.

Delete by email

If you cannot access the app (for example, you have already uninstalled it), email contact@fluttech.com from the address associated with your Lettera account, with the subject “Delete my Lettera account”. We will action the request within 14 days and reply when it is done. A guest account has no email address; tell us roughly when and on which phone you played, and we will do what we can.

What is deleted

When you delete your account we permanently erase:

your Firebase authentication record (the account itself), including the name and email address received from Apple or Google;
your progress: levels, stars, coins and opened topics;
your streak and daily-task history;
the words and postcards you have collected;
your saved settings;
the copy of all of the above on the phone you deleted from.

What may be kept, and for how long

Word reports you filed are kept with your account identifier removed. They hold a language, a topic, a word and a reason from a fixed list — nothing that identifies you.
Daily-board statistics are anonymous counts of solve times per day. Your entry cannot be linked back to you once the account is gone.
Crash diagnostics collected via Firebase Crashlytics are retained by Google for up to 90 days as part of the Crashlytics service, then removed automatically.
Backups at our service providers may take up to 30 days to age out, after which no copy of your data remains.

Local data on other phones

Deleting from inside the app clears the game on that phone. A copy on another phone you played on stays there until you uninstall Lettera from it; it can no longer sync, because the account it belonged to no longer exists.
