Tendril
Delete your account
Last updated: 22 July 2026
This page explains how to permanently delete your Tendril account and the data we hold about you. Tendril is published by MJK APPS SRL. If you have any trouble with the steps below, email contact@fluttech.com and we will delete your account for you.
In short:
- You can delete your account directly from inside the Tendril app.
- Your profile, display name, solved count, water balance, garden and leaderboard entries are erased.
- There is no waiting period — deletion is immediate.
- Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device.
Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open Tendril on your device.
- Tap the You tab.
- Under Account & sync, tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation dialog, then tap Delete.
If you are signed in with Google or Apple, the app asks you to sign in with that provider once more before the deletion completes — this confirms it is really you and takes a few seconds. If you play as a guest, no extra sign-in is needed. Once confirmed, your cloud data and your account are removed straight away, and the app returns to a fresh guest session so you can keep playing.
Delete by email
If you cannot access the app (for example, you have already uninstalled it), email contact@fluttech.com from the address associated with your Tendril account, with the subject “Delete my Tendril account”. We will action the request within 14 days and reply when it is done.
Delete the app’s local data yourself
Everything Tendril keeps on your device — puzzle progress, best times, streaks, settings, Seeds and water — is removed when you uninstall the app. You do not need us for that, and it takes effect immediately.
What is deleted
When we delete your account we permanently erase:
- your Firebase authentication record (the account itself, anonymous or signed-in);
- your display name and profile;
- your solved count and water balance;
- your garden — every plant you have placed and grown;
- your entries on the daily leaderboards, for today and for the previous 30 days.
What may be kept, and for how long
- Anonymous totals. The app keeps counters of how many puzzles all players have solved today, this week and in total. Your solves contributed to those numbers and cannot be subtracted from them, but the counters are totals only — they contain nothing that identifies you.
- Daily leaderboard entries older than 30 days may persist briefly after deletion and then age out automatically. They carry only the display name you chose, and nothing that links back to you once your account is gone.
- Analytics events are tied to a random, app-generated instance identifier rather than your account, and are retained by Google for a limited period as part of the Firebase Analytics service before being removed automatically. You can stop new events being collected at any time under You → Settings → Share anonymous analytics.
- Backups at our service providers may take up to 30 days to age out, after which no copy of your data remains.
Playing on after deletion
Deleting your cloud account does not take the game away from you. Your puzzle progress is stored on your device, so you can keep solving offline; the app will simply create a fresh anonymous account the next time it needs one, and your garden will start over.
