Brokk — Runes of Dawn is a physics puzzle game through the nine Norse worlds: throw Brokk's
hammer, call it home, dive on what stands in its way, and free the runes of
every fortress with throws to spare.
Frequently asked
- How do I get three stars? Win with at least two throws
left. Every fortress has a proven three-star line; the hint in the game
draws the next throw of it.
- How do I earn hints? A new player starts with three
hint charges. The first three-star clear of each fortress and the first
clear of a daily challenge each give one more.
- The next fortress is locked. Clear the one before it.
Worlds open in order.
- When does the daily challenge change? At midnight UTC,
the same moment for everybody, so every player competes on the same
fortress on the same day wherever they are.
- I lost my progress. Progress is stored on the device
only in this version, so a reinstall or a new phone starts again. Signing
in does not back it up yet.
- What does signing in give me? The name on the account
plate in Settings, and a place on the leaderboards under the nickname
you choose. It is optional, and the whole game is playable without
it.
- How do I get on the leaderboard? Open LEADERBOARD from
the title screen for today's board, this week's and the campaign's. If
you are not signed in, the game asks once — after a daily win — whether
your result may go up, and nothing of yours is uploaded until you say
yes. Signing in puts you on the boards straight away.
- Who can see my name on a board? Everyone using the app.
A row carries a name, a score and the time it was written, and nothing
else — there is no chat, no messaging and no profile in Brokk. If you
have not chosen a nickname, the game shows one it made up from your
anonymous id, like Brokk·7f3a.
- How do I change or remove my name? Settings → Account
lets you change the nickname, and the rows you already have are renamed
with it. Deleting your account (Settings → Account → Delete account)
removes your weekly and all-time rows and takes the name off your daily
rows, leaving a "—" in its place. To have anything else removed, write
to us.
- Someone's name on a board is offensive. Report it to
contact@fluttech.com — tell us
which board and which name — and we remove it. Chosen nicknames also
pass an automatic profanity filter before they are accepted.
- Can I turn usage analytics off? Yes — Settings →
Privacy. They are off until you answer the question the game asks once
after your first cleared fortress.
- How do I delete my account? Settings → Account → Delete
account, or request it on the web at
fluttech.com/brokk/delete_account.html,
or e-mail us from the address tied to your sign-in.
